Almost always, holiday somehow resembles a seaside with lots of sun and beaches, places with natural beauties etc. This tendency wiped out the natural resources of the seaside regions, and left people with large holiday complexes and summer houses that are crumbled into each other. Now, there is a new group of people that want to spend their holidays in a different manner- the quiet, natural, green way...

The Bay of Edremit, that Idakoy Ranch House is situated in, is a region preferred by domestic tourism and people who would like to have a summer house. The peak summer activity lasts for 2 months, but the bay still keeps its natural beauty and is a perfect place for alternative tourism fans.

Being a retired lawyer and a philosophy teacher, we planned to move out to this region in 1992. The main aim was to enjoy a quiet life in the Ida Mountain, but the beauty and tranquility of the place was so charming, we decided we could share it with our friends and guests. So, Idakoy Ranch House was founded in 1993.

In time, the feedback we had from people who visited our house was so positive, we were encouraged to share with people another miracle of the area, "Idaköy Natural Olive Oil".
Our house has been sharing the beauty of the Ida Mountain with guests for 10 years now, all year round. Its clean air, unbelievably abundant water resources, olive groves and pine forests make this area one of the best in its kind for Turkey, and give us the pleasure of hosting ever more people and turn our guests into our friends as years pass by.
